What is the Florida Voters League?

The Florida Voters League, Inc. is a non-profit, nonpartisan statewide political organization composed of local affiliates in many counties and of members at-large. The League meets annually for its convention, held in different locations throughout the state, normally where hosted by a local affiliate chapter. The convention is generally held in the month of June. The business affairs of the organization are conducted twice annually by the Board of Directors of the League. The Board normally meets in January and September, usually in Orlando due to its central location

Our Mission

The general mission and purpose for which the corporation is organized is to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation of the citizens of the State of Florida in good government and to provide a better understanding and better implementation of objective performances in voting opportunities.

What are our functions?

  • To promote an informed electorate and political responsibility through voter registration, education and participation.

  • To engage in studies, research voter trends or concerns, economic improvement, job opportunities and other areas of concerns that affect the citizens of the State of Florida.

  • Promote government measures and policies for the best interest of the public.

  • To coordinate activities with similar organizations and individuals with our same purpose and intents in furthering our voting concern for the general welfare of all the citizens of Florida.

  • To implement programs and policies in keeping with the purposes and intent of this corporation.
